San Francisco is not America.
At least, that's what everyone keeps telling me.
But hello?! It is definitely to far to be in Europe?! Isn't it?
I do have to admit it is hard to spot the American in San Francisco. They must be out here somewhere. But we seem to meet the Germans. The Belgians. The French. And this morning the South-African.
When we do spot a real American, they're different. Or that's what they claim. They spend a lifetime in France. Or on the streets. They don't like Bush. Neither do they like Miss North Carolina. Americans living in San Francisco are educated. Literate. And liberal. And they are always coming from another spot on the American map.
Anyway. I challenge myself now. I am going to spot the American. The real American. The one who belongs to this spot. I am going to search for the real San Franciscan.
What a cache!
